They never were relevant

Lamenting the glory days of the Grammy’sâ„¢ is as misled as waxing poetic about when Saturday Night Live was funny. Both of these are myths, gloriously and falsely painted with the cheap acrylics of deeply exaggerated nostalgia. The truth is, neither of these have changed so much as you have.

Both are, and always have, geared 80% toward fifteen-year-olds and the brain dead. Once upon a time you may have been one of those, but the day you stopped and acquired some taste was the day the Grammy’s became irrelevant, bland, kind of painful and loaded with people you don’t recognize or never understood how they got there to begin with, much like SNL.
