My brain is constantly besieged by music. I hesitate to call them ear worms, because it implies I heard a song, and now can’t get it out of my head. Instead, regardless of time, activity or anything else, when my mind dawdles, it plays music. Typically, it’s music I haven’t even heard remotely recently. Somewhere, my desire for music has tapped into the media drive of my memory, and it plays songs completely fucking randomly. A lot.

So, below are a journal of songs that randomly overtake my inner ear. These are not recommendations. And if there’s a significant lapse of time between one and another, the music didn’t stop. I simply stopped journaling their occurrences.
